Another one bites the dust.
This yard looked nice about three months ago. This is actually a duplex. Two years ago each side sold for approximately $371,000. Today, I think they'd be lucky to get $200,000 each, but that's just my opinion and you know what "they" say about opinions. Everyone has one, what's yours?
I could blog all day long about foreclosures in the central valley of California. There is a seemingly endless parade of them.

well, $200,000 is quite a lot. between HOA, taxes and maintainence, it's probably cheaper to rent. since a 30 year mortgage would start at $1200 a month-- which is reasonable, i'd expect $2000 would cover the costs.
I'm going to stay in my $550/month apartment w/ garage, it's a much better deal.
I have seen some gorgeous house listed on homebuyer.com for sale in California for a lot less than what they were worth few months ago.
Look at it this way.
Place would make a great Meth Lab.
Or (with all that interior space) a Pot House.
Even includes a huge garage for concealed loading of shipments.
