The Olive Green Fridge

It's always a good thing to have an olive green fridge in front of your house when you are trying to sell it. Curb appeal is EVERYTHING. If you can click on the picture, you might even be able to see the magnets on it. I guess I shouldn't judge, maybe they are just trying to save on electricity since it is winter and all. It has been there for three weeks and counting...

Where's the HOA when you need them?

At least the fridge matches the trashcan, also out front.

Have they even *made* green refrigerators in the time that house has been standing there?

In the 70s they called it avocado.

Yes it is. And... in the 70's avacado looked great!

But like you all, I'm still trying to figure out what it all means!? Was it a matter that the (former?) owner moved right from a 2bd/1ba apt. to the home of their dreams w/ zero down and a fridge painted by "rattle can"?

Is that what we're saying here? O.K, I'm cool w/ that. But then why, why oh why would it wind up in the driveway? Is this the bank asking the (former?) "owners" to get it out of the house so it doesn't stink up the place? Why else? "Look, just get the damn fridge out and we won't 1099 you for the money you *didn't pay us?"

Any clue out there people?

Out here the eye sores are the lawns. We live in a desert and it seems in some areas every 3rd house doesn't water or mow. Some of the builders are now furnishing properties with "desert landscapes" instead.
